Pastor Victor J. Coleman,Sr.
 
 
Pastor Coleman was born in McComb, MS to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wilson and Arsola Coleman, Sr. He is the eleventh of twelve children. He is married to 1st Lady Cathy (Thompson) Coleman. Pastor Coleman is the proud father of four children, Victor “James”, Victoria Dominique, Vincent Martel (wife Jayme) and Victorine Monique from his previous marriage. He is stepfather to Jaliel (Tedesia) Thompson and Tomeka (Joshua) Lambright  . They have four grandchildren (Robert, Jayden, Justin and Jamier).

Pastor Coleman retired from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) after 35 years of government service, 32 of with IRS and three (3) years the U.S. Army and five (5) years Army Reserve.

He has over 32 years Information Technology experience. This experience includes being a computer operator, programmer and Program Manager for multi-million dollar projects.

While in the Army and Army Reserve, Pastor Coleman served as a Combat Engineer, Bridge Specialist, and Personnel Specialist. His assignments were in Missouri, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and Germany.

Pastor Coleman committed his life to the Lord in March 1979 at Fort Stewart Georgia. He was called and licensed in to the preached and teach the Gospel1981 and ordained in 1982 at Mount Herman Missionary Baptist Church, in McComb, MS, under the leadership of the late  Pastor, Dr. B.A. Golf. He was later ordained at Word of Faith Christian Center in Memphis, TN under his Pastor, Apostle, Dr. Eugene Crockett.

In 1989 Pastor Coleman and his family moved to the Alexandria, Va. He later relocated to Columbia, Md, where he joined Longreach Church of God under his spiritual Father Bishop Robert S. Davis, Sr. He was licensed and ordained in the Church of God in 1994. In the summer of 2002 Pastor Coleman accepted the call to Pastor. In October 2002, he was called to be the Senior Pastor of Temple Hills Church of God in Temple Hills, MD.

In addition to pastoring, Pastor Coleman was the National President of the Christian Fundamentalist Internal Revenue Employees (CFIRE) organization, on the board of Director for the Global Vision Mission organization with outreach to Africa. He has also conducted missionary work in Haiti, Africa and Europe.

His educational accomplishments are as follows: Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Data Processing from Utica Junior College (Utica, MS); Bachelor of Science in Computer Science form Lemoyne Owen College (Memphis, TN); Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University (Washington, DC). He also attended Southwest Mississippi Seminary, Magnolia, MS.

During his collegiate years he served as the President of the Baptist Student Union, President of the Student Government, established a weekly Church Service on Campus, Campus Photography, News paper editor and contributor, Thespian, etc.

He loves life and a good joke. His basic philosophy is to love and serve God with passion and to love people likewise.
